Lofoten aquarium
and Svolvær city
In Kabelvåg, just outside Svolvær they
have build an aquarium where living creatures from the ocean just
outside the area are presented. It is very facinating to see what
live deep down there, and be impressed of the wonderful colurs
you can see. Seals and oters are also there, and if you are
lucky, you will be there at feeding time, we arrived just 10 min
too late. In Svolvær you could climb up to the Svolvær goat and
jump from one rock to another - good luck. It is also possible to
have a visit to Trollfjorden, an impressive narrow fjord with
steep mountain sides. They say its very special to watch the
coastal boat when they enter and turn around in there.
Unfortunately the season was not really started, so the only time
of deprture did not match our timetable, so we'll have to do that
another time.
